ENVIRONMENT

Set in a tucked away private mooring and within the extremely beautiful and wildlife rich Fulford Ings Site of Special Scientific Interest.  The mooring itself is well developed with large willows trees, a surrounding woven willow boundary hedge and apple, plum and pear trees coming on nicely. We also have one of the best rope swings in york which has provided many years of entertainment.  The surrounding meadows are a filled with  wildflowers from May to September and barn owl, snipe and deer regularly seen at quieter times of day. The river has at least one otter family living in the area, and kingfisher, grey heron and sand-martin present to name a few.
